How Linkers compares with the alternatives.

Four ways to build a remote team, and we are only one of them. We are the boutique option, built for small and mid-sized businesses. These pages set out where each option genuinely wins, including the cases where you should not use us.

Where we fit.

Linkers is a boutique outsourcing company built for small and mid-sized businesses. We are not a marketplace and we are not software. We build a team for you in the Philippines, South Africa or Myanmar, arrange their employment through our partners there, run the payroll and the compliance, and stay involved every month. You direct the daily work; we take care of everything around it.

Our client portal is part of that service rather than the thing you are buying. It is the plumbing: where you see your team, approve their time off and keep track of what is happening. Useful, and not the point.

Most comparison pages are written so that the company publishing them always wins. These are not, because you will work out the truth within a month of signing and then we will have a problem. Broadly: freelancers suit short projects and variable work. An employer of record suits you if you already have the person and only need them employed legally. Large agencies suit big, multi-country programmes with a procurement process. We suit a company that wants two to twenty people, does not want to run the hiring or the admin, and would like the same person to answer the phone every time.

If your situation is clearly one of the first three, we would rather tell you now.

Be honest with yourself

When we are the right answer, and when we are not.

Use Linkers

We are a good fit when

You want ongoing roles, not one-off projects
You want two to twenty people, not two hundred
You would rather not run the hiring yourself
You want one invoice and no foreign employment admin
You want the same person every week
Use someone else

Go elsewhere when

You need one logo or one project, then nothing
You have already found the person yourself
You need staff in fifteen countries at once
You need somebody tomorrow morning
Your budget only stretches to hourly freelancers

We say no to a handful of enquiries a month on exactly these grounds. It costs us a sale and saves both sides a bad year.

Not sure which of the four you need?

Tell us the role, the hours and roughly how long you need it for. If one of the others suits you better we will say so.
