How it works

From first message to first shift.

Most roles start within two to four weeks. Here is every step, what we need from you, and what we handle ourselves.

Typical timeline
Tell us the roleDay 1, a short call or an email
Profiles with intro videosDay 4 to 8
You interview and trialDay 8 to 14
Contracts and onboardingDay 14 to 21
First shiftWeek 3 or 4

Faster when the role is one we place often, slower when the tools are unusual. We will tell you which at the start.

The process

Five steps, and you only do three of them.

We deliberately keep your part small. You decide who joins your team and how they work; everything administrative is ours.

01Tell us the roleA short call or an email. We need the tasks, the hours you want covered, the tools your team uses, and anything that would make someone a bad fit. Thirty minutes is usually enough.
02We find the right fitWe work through our talent network, screen for your exact tools and hours, and check references. You get a short list of profiles with an introduction video for each, not a pile of CVs.
03Interview and trialYou meet the people you like. Run a short paid trial task if you want to see the work before deciding. We sit in only if you want us there.
04Contracts and onboardingWe handle the employment or contractor agreement, the NDA, intellectual property terms and local compliance. You get a start date and an onboarding plan.
05They start, and we stayThey work your hours in your tools, as part of your team. We handle payroll, time off and regular check-ins with them, and you have one named account manager for anything else.
Your part

What we need from you.

Three things. Everything else is ours to carry.

A clear picture of the role

The tasks, the hours, the tools. If you are not sure what to hand over first, we will help you work it out; most clients start with the work they most dislike doing.

An hour or two to interview

You meet two or three people and pick. We do the screening, reference checks and the introduction videos before anyone reaches you.

Someone to manage the work

Your team member needs a person to report to, as any employee would. That is the one thing we cannot do for you, and it is the main reason placements succeed or fail.

Honest limits

What we are good at, and what we are not.

A good fit

We are right for you if

You are a small or growing business hiring your first few remote team members
You want one person who knows your business, not a ticket queue
You need ongoing roles covered, in your hours and your tools
You would rather someone else held the compliance and payroll
Not a good fit

We are the wrong choice if

You need twenty people next week: we are boutique on purpose and we will say so
You want a one-off project of a few days; a freelance marketplace is cheaper for that
You want the lowest possible price above everything else
You have nobody who can manage the person day to day

We would rather tell you no at the start than take a setup fee for something that was never going to work.

Questions

Questions about the process.

Most roles start within two to four weeks from the first conversation. Roles we place often move faster; unusual tools or niche experience take longer, and we will tell you which yours is at the start.
Usually two or three, chosen after we have screened and reference-checked a much longer list. We would rather send you three good fits than ten maybes.
Yes. A short paid trial task is the single best predictor of how the working relationship will go, and we encourage it.
You do. They work as part of your team, in your hours and your tools, reporting to someone on your side. We handle employment, payroll, time off and regular welfare check-ins with them.
There is no multi-year lock-in. Notice periods depend on the country and the arrangement, and they are written into the agreement before anyone starts so there are no surprises.
Yes, within reason. South Africa covers UK and European hours comfortably, the Philippines and Myanmar cover Australian and Singapore hours, and we are honest when a time zone makes a role difficult.

Tell us the role and the hours.

We will tell you honestly whether we can fill it, how long it will take, and what it will cost. Free, and with no commitment.
